But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” This Biblical quote spiritually inspired me to establish Great Victory Academy.
In 1993, Great Victory Academy was therefore established to compete comparatively with the academic giants of the South, where parents could access quality education here in the Upper East Region.
At the time, it was only a dream, but today, it has become a reality, surpassing expectations.
Great Victory Academy welcomes children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, including the rich and the poor, the great and the small.
Besides academics, which is paramount in every facet of an educational institution, we give our children moral and spiritual training from the word of God. We also unearth various talents in them through our blend of co-curricular activities.

ACADEMIC DEPARTMENTS
Pre School
This department offers an opportunity for children to learn, through hands-on activities that stimulates their curiosity and creativity.
Basic School 1-6 (Primary)
The syllabi are based on the Ghana Education Service (GES) Curriculum for Basic Schools in Ghana with a few modifications to suit our standards.
Basic School 7-9 (JHS)
Junior High schools, otherwise known as middle schools in other countries, operates strictly under the GES curriculum. Preparation for BECE starts immediately after promotion, or admission into basic 7
Basic School 10 - 12 (SHS)
The Senior High School (SHS) located at Pusi -Namoo is under construction. Stakeholders will be notified as and when it is commissioned.

SCHOOL CLUBS
CADET CORPS
The School Cadet program instills discipline, leadership, and a sense of responsibility in students. Through structured training and activities, cadets learn the value of service, teamwork, and patriotism in a fun and engaging environment.
REGIMENTAL BAND
Our school Regimental band provides learners with the opportunity to explore their interests beyond the classroom. This club helps students build confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of teamwork.
SPORTS CLUB
Sports are an integral part of our curriculum, promoting physical health, teamwork, and discipline. We offer various sporting activities including football, athletics, and volleyball, etcetera encouraging students to stay active, healthy, and develop sportsmanship.
MARTIAL ARTS
The martial art club is an integral part of the co-curricular activities, aimed at promoting physical fitness, academically alert and self defence.
